Meet the Leaders

2nd Langham Scout Group is run by a team of experienced leaders, who all volunteer their time to run the sessions for the benefit of all of the young people in the group. They have all undertaken a number of training courses and modules to ensure that they have been given the skills and training needed to ensure that your child is safe at all times.

 Young Leaders

At 2nd Langham Scout Group we are very lucky to have some great young people who come each week to support our Leaders with the programme and offer great support to the Young People in each Section.  Young Leaders are Explorer Scouts aged between 14 - 18 years old.

Although it seems from pictures that we have a large team, a lot of the leaders you see above are often only back in school holidays around their Uni lives or are unable to commit a lot of time due to other commitments. Some  of our volunteers only commit to as little as one week a year, proving that you don't need to commit to weekly meetings, any amount of time you could spare would be a great help!

If you are interested in supporting us at weekly meetings, camps, events, with fundraising or on our exec committee please let us know.
